  • Manufactured using 16-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel, powdercoated for extra corrosion resistance
  • Available 304 stainless steel

Redundancy: Built-in

Dual Fans

AirPak™ units provide consistent airflow into the conditioned space

  • Units 12.5 tons and up utilize dual evaporator blower assemblies
  • Two backwardly-inclined blowers run concurrently
  • Condenser fans are impeller type, with dual condenser fans on the APK 150, APK 180, and APK 240

Evaporator and Condenser Coils

  • Standard coils are constructed from heavy-weight rifled copper tubes mechanically bonded to aluminum fins
  • Standard coils can be coated with our SpecificCoat™ two-stage corrosion resistant coating, designed to give you optimal protection with minimal loss of heat transfer
  • Evaporator and condenser coils are interlaced, containing two completely separate refrigeration circuits
  • Condenser coils are designed at 8 FPI to reduce clogging in industrial environments
  • Evaporator coils are designed at 11-13 FPI for efficiency
  • Highly corrosion resistant copper fin/copper tube coils are available as an option.
  • Other corrosion resistant coatings are also available as options


  • Two hermetically-sealed scroll compressors
  • Crankcase heaters are provided as a standard feature to further extend the life of compressors

Industrial Wiring

  • Precisely loomed and labeled electrical connections for ease of identification during maintenance or installation.
  • Electrical panels are UL recognized under standard 508A and are CSA approved.
  • Freezestats are standard on all AirPak units
  • Unit mounted circuit breakers are available

If the unit is designed to blow into existing ductwork, AirPak units can be engineered with ductmate flanges, vertical discharge blowers, and even plenums sized to meet the specifications of your application. This is recommended on units 10 tons and greater
