Product Information

Specific Systems programmable thermostats are excellent overall cost-saving additions to each unit. Programmable thermostats are capable of being set to four independent temperature settings, useful when an area is occupied only during certain hours. By allowing users to set different temperatures for daytime heat, daytime cool, nighttime heat, and nighttime cool, units are able to conserve energy during based on the user’s schedule. Because the units then only run when necessary, the programmable thermostat allows the units to operate less frequently when not needed, thereby increasing their life expectancy and lowering the facility’s energy costs.

Also offered as an option is an outdoor temperature sensor, allowing users to easily determine the difference in indoor/outdoor temperature in order to adjust controls accordingly.

Units are prewired to accept the thermostat. Thermostats do not require a battery. All units are also prewired with the ability to be controlled from a remote location. They use an LCD screen for easy programming and readout of current indoor and/or outdoor temperature. These thermostats also feature a lock function to prevent unauthorized permanent changes to programmed settings.
