410A Conversion Update

As with the entire HVAC industry, Specific Systems is transitioning to non-HCFC refrigerants for both environmental and regulatory reasons.

R-410A, a more efficient and non–ozone-depleting refrigerant, has quickly positioned itself as the industry standard refrigerant because of its inherent properties. Because it is near-azeotropic, R-410A can be handled more safely than other refrigerants, and it has a much greater range of useful temperatures than many alternatives.

Specific Systems has been building durable HVAC units since 1974, and looks forward to an efficient and environmentally-friendly future.
