Product Information

Specific Systems 60 Series InPac units are some of the most versatile and durable 1 ton to 3 ton (12,000 - 36,000 BTUH) through-the-wall HVAC units available today. Like all InPac units, they are available for use in extremely hazardous Class I, Division 1, Groups C, & D locations, as well as Class I, Division 2, Groups B, C, & D.

The 60 Series couples multiple mounting configurations and a small footprint with redundant refrigeration systems and rugged construction. Optional NFPA-compliant Type Z purge and pressurization, gas alarms, chemical filtration, phenolic coated coils and explosion-proof packages combine to create a through-the-wall industrial grade HVAC system that is second-to-none. The 60 Series was specifically designed for heavy-duty use in commercial and industrial applications such as petrochemical, telecommunications, instrumentation, control, and electrical powerhouse assemblies.

Dual redundant refrigeration circuits and heavy-duty industrial cabinetry are standard features in the 60 Series design, not options or modifications.

The modular design of the InPac 60 Series allows easy production modifications of the basic unit to convert the basic unit to wall mount, through-the-wall mount, or roof mount. Additionally, options such as stainless steel or aluminum cabinetry, hot gas bypass, low ambient controls, and special filter/control systems make the InPac 60 Series the ideal choice for use in highly corrosive and explosive environments.

InPac units are custom-engineered and built-to-order for each customer using a time-proven assembly method. Standard unit cabinets are manufactured of 16-gauge galvanized steel with all-welded construction. The completed cabinet is painted with a finish to help fight corrosion. Standard fan module consists of a motor and direct drive blowers. If any auxiliary (stand-by) fan is needed, it can be provided along with the necessary controls to automatically purge and pressurize the building. The auxiliary fan serves secondarily as a redundant fan should a failure occur to the primary fan.
