Dual Refrigeration Circuits
Product Information
Specific Systems set the standard for industrial HVAC units by standardizing a dual refrigeration circuit. The circuit utilizes a dual coil design that incorporates two sets of tubes into one set of fins inside each coil. This allows the two circuits to fit in the same size cabinet as a typical single circuit system.
Through the use of the dual refrigeration circuit, Specific Systems units are inherently redundant. Each systems includes 2 complete and separate circuits, so that in the event one circuit fails, the system is still capable of operating at 1/2 of full capacity.
The images below show the differences between simple, standard, and Specific Systems dual circuits.
